Smooth Digital, the UK’s leading care sector digital marketing agency, has been named as a finalist in the inaugural Care Sector Supplier Awards, taking place in November.
The Awards, will honour the best companies that supply products and services to care providers operating in the UK.
Organisers, Stratford Projects, have said the standard of entries was “remarkably high” for the awards, particularly across the technology and business services categories, which Smooth Digital fall under.
Commenting on the achievement, Tobi Alli-Usman, marketing strategy director at Smooth Digital, said: “This is fantastic news. COVID-19 hit our clients hard, which invariably meant we felt the shockwave. Our team however, banded together and stepped up output during the pandemic to make sure that we could help care providers as much as possible to utilise technology and communicate positivity to the public in the face of a mainstream media onslaught”
“As a newer industry, it is brilliant that digital marketing is starting to be recognised and celebrated alongside other care suppliers in the UK and this is really a positive indicator of the technological progression within the sector in recent years”
Throughout the last few months, Smooth’s Tea With Tobi video podcast has been a beacon of light for many care providers, who’ve found themselves having to pivot their businesses in wake of the restrictions across the UK.
The show has addressed topics such as adapting business continuity plans, improving sales and recruitment processes during the pandemic and using PR and video to spread positive stories surrounding care in the UK.
If a physical event is possible, the Awards will take place at the Royal Garden Hotel, Kensington on 20 November 2020.
