Following a successful tender, medical refrigeration expert, Lec Medical, has been appointed to a new procurement framework for the NHS in a deal worth an estimated £3 million pounds.
The company, part of Glen Dimplex Medical Appliances, has been placed on the framework agreement for Laboratory Diagnostics, Point of Care Testing & Pathology Managed Services Framework, Lot 5 Laboratory Equipment and Consumables.
The four-year framework agreement marks the continuation of Lec Medical’s longstanding relationship with the NHS, to which it has supplied medical refrigeration products for decades.
NHS Trusts will be able to order Lec Medical’s range of laboratory, pharmacy and ward refrigeration products via the NHS Supply Chain portal, directly from the manufacturer or via an approved distributor.
