Agentless backup for Proxmox VE
A highlight of v11 is support for agentless backups of Proxmox Virtual Environment (VE). This means organisations can back up Proxmox VMs directly at the host level without installing agents, streamlining operations and minimising load.
Backups are incremental and block-level, using change tracking to capture only modified data. Supported storage options include local repositories, cloud storage (Amazon S3, Wasabi, Azure Blob, Backblaze B2), S3-compatible solutions, NAS, deduplication appliances, and tape.
Backups can be immutable and encrypted, offering strong protection against ransomware.
Microsoft 365 multi-cloud backup
With growing reliance on Microsoft 365, v11 now allows backups to be stored in multiple clouds, including Amazon S3, Wasabi, Azure Blob, and others. This supports the 3-2-1-1 backup strategy, 3 copies, 2 types of storage, 1 offsite, and 1 immutable, to ensure robust data availability.
