At C2-AI we’re working hard to support hospitals release ICU capacity at scale.
A study by researchers at University Hospital Southampton, from May this year, found that Acute Kidney Injury was present in 31 per cent of Covid-19 hospital patients and that AKI was associated with 27 per cent of admissions to ICU. The findings also showed that 44 per cent of Covid-19 patients with AKI died, compared to 19 per cent of Covid-19 patients without AKI.
The Compass Point of Care App for Acute Kidney Injury and hospital-acquired Pneumonia is proven to help reduce incidents of both these hospital-acquired conditions by over 50% and is free to use till March 2021.
Compass PoC for AKI & HAP requires no integration with existing systems. Deployment is immediate via App download (IOS & Android compatible), there are no information governance constraints, and staff can be trained by video in under two minutes.
