Blueleaf Care, the nationwide business that helps care homes deliver better outcomes, has chosen Macmillan Cancer Support as its 2024 Charity of the Year, with fund-raising support that will include a cycle ride from Paris to London later in the year.
Significant emphasis is placed on giving back to the community wherever possible through all aspects of Blueleaf’s work. In supporting Macmillan Cancer Support, the company is further aligning with its aim of making a difference in a people and value-oriented sector, realised through its pledge to ‘Care. Always’.
Blueleaf Care’s CEO, Nick Frogbrook, and its Sales & Marketing Director, Ellen Brown, will cycle from Paris to London in September to raise funds for the charity. Nick says those who care for others are extraordinary, and the charity cycle ride will see the business continue to live out its purpose: “We’re here to support those who care for others and ensure that they never feel alone, and our Charity of the Year fundraising efforts are another way in which we can make a positive impact on the lives of people in need of a helping hand.”
Ellen is similarly excited about the challenge ahead: “Macmillan’s support for those in need is something close to our hearts. We are looking forward to getting started with training and the ride itself, raising valuable funds for an important cause.”
