Neom Organics was launched in 2005 by Nicola Elliott and her business partner Oliver Mennell (their initials make up the name, Neom!) After spending seven hectic years working a 60 hour week as a magazine journalist, Nicola was really feeling the stressful pace of life and noticed that her friends were feeling the same way, with most having trouble sleeping, feeling low in energy and unbalanced.
This kick-started Nicola’s own wellbeing journey and with the hopes of helping her friends too, Nicola trained as an aromatherapist and started to create therapeutic, effective blends using only the purest possible oils. The first Neom fragrance Nicola developed, was for her sister who was having trouble sleeping. This became the renowned Tranquillity fragrance which is a blend of 19 pure essential oils – in consumer sleep trials 88% of participants had a better night’s sleep! From there, Nicola created more blends using only 100% natural fragrances to help relieve stress, aid sleep, boost your energy or lift your mood. In 2005 Neom Organics was launched with just five candles, and is now a global wellbeing brand with 5 standalone stores, it’s also stocked in major retailers and distributed internationally.
