The £1 cost per patient will be donated to the Center for Disaster Philanthropy’s COVID-19 Response Fund. The fund is focusing on working with nonprofit organisations working in areas with a high number of affected individuals as well as working with the most vulnerable populations to help to build their capacity for response.
Treated.com are hoping that this service will help to reduce the strain currently placed on NHS and the NHS 111 helpline as the virus continues to spread. The consultation call will last 10 minutes, and patients can enquire about symptoms they are currently experiencing or someone they are close to.
