More than 5,000 healthcare professionals are expected at a national conference known as the “must-attend event” for everyone involved in the treatment and management of diabetes.
Diabetes Professional Care is the UK’s leading conference for healthcare professionals working in diabetes and provides free education to support the NHS to improve care.
A wide range of healthcare professionals, including Diabetes Specialist Nurses, practice nurses, GPs, consultants, podiatrists and dietitians, will attend the conference along with the diabetes leads from Strategic Clinical Networks from across the UK.
Representatives from nursing organisation TREND-UK, the Diabetes Specialist Nurse Forum UK and the Joint British Diabetes Societies for Inpatient Care will also be in attendance.
The free-to-attend, CPD-accredited education event takes place on Wednesday, November 16, and Thursday, November 17, at London Olympia.
Agnes Jacobs, Content Lead for Diabetes Professional Care, said: “This year’s event promises to be one of the very best conferences we have ever staged.
“We have incredible world class speakers who are shaping the future of diabetes care and our CPD accredited programme covers a broad range of education and clinical skills training which will benefit healthcare professionals of all specialisms and all levels of experience.
“Attendees will be able to learn about all the latest guidance updates, the growing role of digital technology and service innovations.
“There will also be the opportunity to meet exciting exhibitors who will be showcasing the latest diabetes products and services.
