Stiltz Homelifts has triumphed yet again with another business accolade which builds on their recent successes – they have gained a ranking on The Sunday Times list of Britain’s Fastest Growing Companies.
The Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 honours private companies with the fastest growing sales. Stiltz Ltd. achieved significant sales growth of 82% over the last three years to £19m in 2018, whilst growing the worldwide team to 162 people. With headquarters in Kingswinford, Stiltz was joined by nine other Midlands-based companies.
Sir Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Atlantic and Virgin Group, which has supported Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 for all its 23 years, said: “While these are uncertain times, there is one thing I am certain of: entrepreneurs are the ones driving innovation, chasing improvements and challenging the norm. There are so many inspiring examples of this on the Fast Track 100 league table and it’s heartening to see the power of entrepreneurship to create jobs and positive change across Britain.”
This year the Sunday Times Virgin Atlantic Fast Track 100 honoured 107 companies, which combined had an average sales growth of 78% over three years to a total of £3bn, employing 16,818 staff, tripling their combined workforce over that period.
This accolade is yet another achievement for Stiltz and adds to their recent collection of awards. Earlier this year Stiltz was placed on the Financial Times SME Export Track 100 for the 3rd consecutive year; this year ranking 34th. The business also recently won the prestigious Exporter of the Year at The 2019 Lloyds Bank Business Awards.
Stiltz Homelifts has revolutionised the traditional through-floor lift market with a range of innovative, pioneering products designed for future-proofing or assisted living. Their unique range of homelifts can fit easily into almost any home and are a safe, comfortable alternative to a stairlift helping wheelchair users avoid the upheaval of moving home. Stiltz products are contemporary, elegant, and unlike the majority of other mobility aids, can enhance the look of a home. A homelift gives people with restricted mobility the independence and confidence to move freely around their two or three storey home.
Lachlan Faulkner, Stiltz Co-Founder and Chief Commercial Officer enthused “We are honoured to make the Sunday Times Fast Track 100 and we are proud to be amongst the best of Britain’s growing entrepreneurial businesses that continue to flourish despite the current challenging economy. This accolade is down to the hard work and dedication of our team, delivering high-quality service combined with industry-leading, innovative products that empower our customers to feel an enhanced sense of wellbeing, confidence and independence”.
