Static Systems Group has today unveiled the results of it rebranding exercise with a new name – SSG – and new brand identity to reflect the evolving nature of the company, which is widely recognised as a leader in its field of smart healthcare technologies.
Explaining the reasons behind the rebrand, Zillah Moore, Strategic Marketing Director at SSG, said: “We are excited to unveil the results of our rebranding exercise which has been taking place behind the scenes for a number of months now. Our new company name – SSG – is a nod towards the company’s legacy, but also a reflection of our conviction that ‘things don’t stay Static forever’ and that the time is right to start the next chapter in the company’s story.
“For almost 60 years, we have been at the forefront of developing smart healthcare technologies that connect people and systems to provide safer, healthier environments for both staff and patients in acute care settings. Since the launch of our first electronic nurse ‘call bell’ system in 1964 which enabled hospital patients to call for help, we have continued to explore ways that technology can work for our customers.
“Fast forward to 2022 and, with the backing of our owner, the Halma Group, we continue to evolve and adapt, developing hospital-wide advanced care systems which connect caregivers, facilitate enhanced patient safety and improve workflow efficiency. As such, we felt it was the right time for our brand to also undergo an evolution to better reflect the progressive nature of our products while honouring where we came from. It’s a very exciting time in the company’s development and more plans will be unveiled in due course.”
