The Pratica FIT Express has the largest capacity in the smallest footprint
The Pratica FIT Express is the latest rapid cook oven supplied by Hubbard Systems, designed to maximise cooking capacity while having the smallest footprint of compact high speed ovens on the market.
The FIT Express is designed for locations with limited kitchen space who want a simple to use yet powerful way of preparing hot food without requiring specialist ventilation equipment. Despite having a footprint of just 386mm wide by 673mm deep, it has a cooking chamber 315mm (w) x 341mm (d), allowing for larger items like pizza to be prepared quickly.
The speed of cooking is delivered by the combination of microwave and impingement, which ensures temperature is distributed uniformly throughout the cooking chamber and delivers results up to ten times faster than conventional methods. The temperature, air speed and microwave can be controlled independently, providing enormous cooking flexibility.
The oven temperature is fully adjustable between 30°C to 280°C. This means it can prepare a wide variety of foods – for example, a croissant sandwich in just 30 seconds, a 22cm frozen pizza in two and a half minutes or bone in chicken wings in three and a half minutes. The FIT Express also features a powerful catalytic converter that filters out odours and particulates from the heated air, which means it can be operated without needing an external extraction system. The filtration also ensures the exterior of the unit is cool to the touch.
The FIT Express is available with single and dual magnetrons. The single version can be powered by a standard 13 amp socket, allowing it to be used almost anywhere. Constructed from stainless steel with a stylish matt black finish, it is easy to clean and maintain. It has no side vents, meaning it can be installed with no need for clearance between other equipment, while providing easy access to the catalytic converter for maintenance and cleaning.
Controlled via a powerful yet simple to use touchscreen, the FIT Express can store 1024 recipes with up to eight steps. Alternatively, a manual cooking mode is available for intuitive cooking of new items. Recipes can be programmed on the unit, added via USB stick or managed remotely through wifi. The touchscreen also features a daily cleaning guide that displays videos showing recommended cleaning steps.
