This year’s Healthcare Estates Conference and Exhibition will take place over two days at Manchester

Gerflor has developed the award-winning Clean Corner System, a patent pending, innovative corner
solution which has been awarded the Procure 22 annual award for Innovation and Product Design. The
Clean Corner System technology is a total and complete solution for installing corners that aids the control
of contamination and meets the requirements of professionals in the pharmaceutical industry in accordance
with GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) including easy coving with limited and easy welding. Controlling
contamination in general healthcare environments together with ultra-clean areas such as burns units,
pharmacies and operating theatres is always a challenge. Corners are where most of the imperfections are
found: Their shape makes cleaning and decontamination difficult. Poorly welded, they can tear or sag under

Taralay Impression Control offers Safety in Numbers, HSE 36+ slip resistance, an R11 wet slip resistance
rating and with a group T wear rating it’s also ideal for heavy traffic environments. Gerflor’s Tarasafe vinyl
safety flooring is reinforced with a glass fibre grid and is suitable for use in all areas of heavy traffic where
slip-resistance, durability and hygienic conditions are required. The range has a maximum hygiene rating
meeting the EN Standard 22196 for anti- bacterial activity (E. coli – S. aureus – MRSA) (3) returning >99%
levels of growth inhibition and comes with a 12-year warranty and is also 100% recyclable. The Tarasafe
Standard range comes with the unique UV cured PUR surface treatment for ease of maintenance and the
Tarasafe Ultra range benefits from the SparClean® surface treatment, requiring no polish for life.
