It is certain that the start of Care Roadshows in 2022 has set the bar high! With three shows down and two to go, we’re proud to say that these fantastic events for the care sector have hit record numbers in 2022 so far. Hundreds of care professionals have come together to share, connect, and learn as we continue to champion the industry and strive for continuous improvement.
Glasgow, Liverpool & Birmingham Highlights
Our stops so far have been Glasgow, Liverpool, and Birmingham – each bringing their own special charm. With the shows taking place at different venues alongside their unique attendees, visitors have been guaranteed an individual and personalised experience wherever they met us on the road.
At Liverpool and Birmingham, visitors had the chance to hear from the Care Quality Commission, as they provided updates on the changes they are making to regulation. They shared the new strategy that will focus on improving care for everyone as they look to bring a more compassionate outlook. For Glasgow, Care Inspectorate Scotland reviewed their quality frameworks and provided important updates on their changing practice and policy.
Visitors and exhibitors enjoyed the stunning surroundings at each location, with the quality of each venue making the day that bit more special. Throughout each day, connections were made as visitors interacted with new and old friends. New to the Birmingham Roadshow was the Care Connector Networking space where visitors could meet, share experiences and expand their network.
What to expect at London and Cardiff?
Looking forward, we can’t wait to see what Care Roadshows London and Cardiff hold! Our next stop in London will be taking place at Epsom Downs Racecourse on the 18th October and then moving on to Cardiff City Stadium on 15th November.
The fantastic seminar and panel programmes, which are free for visitors to attend, will continue to address the current challenges within the care sector and provide support for a range of topics. At each show, there will be plenty of opportunity to browse the exhibition floor holding a variety of products and services to test and try. Ensure to take the time to meet and greet like-minded care professionals as you never know who might be of value to you!
